    Description

    Simpson Hall, Miller & Co. Quadruple Plate Weave Basket 1893 Columbian Exposition item, best you will see anywhere. The winged figure featured on the Medallion in the center of this basket is the Statue of the Republic( which was the featured centerpiece 65 foot statue made for 1893 Chicago World Colombian  Exposition. ) Measures about 2.25 by 6.25 by 6.5 inches and weighs about 1/2 pound. Appears to be in excellent shape, see pictures.  One of the rarest items issued for this famous exposition.
