    This is a papier mache kewpie doll made in Germany pre-1930
    He is stamped Germany in red ink on his back, measures about 6.5" tall, and comes wearing his original clothes with molded on hat
    This unusual doll has a spring mechanism in its torso that allows it to bobble at the waist, kind of like a bobblehead doll
    The paper enclosing the bobble wire has torn so the doll's upper half just sits on top of the spring (shown apart so you can see the mechanism and the Germany writing on the paper) but the body is able to be held together by the clothing so the doll can still be displayed and bobble around
    Aside from a thumb chip and this torn paper, no other damage was found on this doll
    The trim around the waist of the doll's clothing is made of real rabbit fur
    A wonderful and unique kewpie doll for your collection and the stand is included for display
