    Description

    These are a pair of 19th Century American handmade Paper Mache and Cloth dolls from Pennsylvania. They are in lovely Antique condition. Both dolls still have their shoes and hats. They have been well taken care of. Only used for display and never in direct sunlight. The facial expressions are superb and clothing right down to the color choices, fabrics, and stitching offer a fine example of the regional folk art of the period. They have been in our collection for a very long time along with a fine array of Pennsylvania Dutch and Folk Art from New England from where my family originated. Both folk dolls stand 15 inches tall. They are being offered for the very first time.
