    Description

    Listed here is a fantastic14" antique paper maché Dutch Doll representing Friesland .  All original and in excellent condition, she is dressed in a blue taffeta, long sleeve dressed, white cotton slip and pantaloons trimmed in antique white lace, an antique white lace apron, socks, and black leather shoes with a flower painted on each.  Completing her costume is a beautiful close fitting white lace “floddermuts” on top of gold, gold “knoppen” with pearls and diamonds at temples, a coral beaded necklace, and a lovely beaded black velvet chatellaine bag hanging from her waist.
    The lace and undergarments are yellowed from age and there is a 3 small dark marks on her left pantaloon leg.
